And Microsoft will make it increadibly difficult for companies like Creative, iRiver, Toshiba and Cowon to operate in the MP3 Player / Portable Media Player market place. Or it could provide a catalyst to the industry and really force the other manufacturers to invest heavily in research and development and produce fantastic pieces of equipment. Let's hope it the latter.
