UK Zune Launch Severely Delayed

News reaches us that the new Microsoft Zune MP3 Player will be massively delayed to the end of 2007 and may be the beginning of 2008. This is the information given by Microsoft’s media and entertainment alliance manager, Dene Schonknecht.

Dene further commented in NMA:

"They will be working on rolling out the Zune in the UK and Europe with its compatible Zune Market place,” said Schonknecht. “We haven’t yet selected a music store provider to build marketplace in the UK, which means we’re way off launch.”
