EMI DRM Free on Zune Too!

Microsoft is due to sign a contract with EMI for it's Zune Player to carry their tracks free of digital rights management.

It's a good move for the Zune as it follows Apple's deal of recent days.

I'm all for the the free movement of music and it could help them take more of the 9% market share they already have if they can undercut iTunes on price.

But if other music marketplaces sign similar deals then the the incentive to move over to a Zune would be less compelling.
